Due to the increase in air ducts, the quality of machinery and equipment of rotary kiln burners has been improved. Especially in the new semi-dry process kilns, most of them have no water cooling and the office environment is more extreme. However, from the perspective of the application of multi-duct pulverized coal burners in China at this stage, it seems that so far there have been no major safety accidents. Just because of the lack of practical operating experience and the problems of the structure itself, its advantages have not been fully utilized and the predicted actual effect has not been achieved. The following common faults often occur in applications.

Due to its high quality, the multi-duct burner extends into the kiln and kiln hood for a long time. In order to increase the service life of the burner, 50~100mm thick refractory castable shall be added to the outer pipe to prevent it from being ablated. Because there is cement clinker soot in the kiln, especially when it comes to flying sand, it is very easy for them to deposit in the front end of the burner extending into the kiln.

The combustor is composed of multi-layer and high-rise waterproof casing, which has a certain bending stiffness, and the harm is not great when the particles are deposited less. However, when there is more deposition and the effect of high temperature, the bending stiffness of the combustion engine steel is reduced, so all combustion engines are bent. The bent combustor fails due to the change in water jet orientation. Once there is a bend, there is no way to return vertically. At this time, you must pay for the replacement, which will cause great damage.

In order to solve this problem, a very simple method is to use a long water pipe to compress the air inside and scrape away the fine particles deposited on time; Or use a long seamless steel pipe to stretch into the observation hole or ignition hole at the side of the kiln hood, and take the observation hole frame as the support point, gently rotate or vibrate to eliminate the deposited fine particles. This kind of practical operation must be skilled and careful, otherwise, it will hurt the refractory castable outside the combustion machine. At this time, the refractory castable has already become soft due to the high-temperature effect, and a little carelessness or unskilled will always hurt the damage. – Once you find that the refractory castable is damaged, you must immediately remove it and replace it. Never be lucky, and mistakenly think that if you persist for a while, it is not easy to have a big problem. The combustion engine will burnt out in a short time due to the destruction of the fuel injection.
