In general, during the ignition process, the primary air flow is kept at the critical state, which aims to maximize the bed temperature and reduce heat loss. However, special attention should be paid to the change of the primary air flow when the oil gun is fired. When the oil gun is ignited, the air in the ignition duct is suddenly heated and expanded, increasing the resistance of the air flow to the air chamber, reducing the total primary air flow, and stopping the operation of the oil gun. When the oil gun is stopped, the opposite phenomenon will occur. Therefore, the opening of the inlet guide vane of the primary fan should be increased or decreased accordingly to ensure that the primary air flow cannot be lower than the critical amount and that the bed material maintains a good fluidization state.

In forced circulation boilers, water or steam not only circulates in the heating pipes with the density difference between water and steam as the driving force, but also needs a certain amount of pump power. Therefore, it is called a forced circulation boiler. The forced circulation boiler has good water circulation, so the speed of water supply is very low. The working pressure of the forced circulation boiler is generally higher, and the material and wall thickness of the boiler tube are required to be higher. The boiler drum is no longer necessary in the forced circulation boiler. It can have a boiler drum or not. The pump head required is higher, and the power consumption is also higher. When the pump stops running, the water flow in the pot also stops. Reliable methods are required to prevent the evaporation of pot water and water hammer.
