The combustion method of biomass boilers
Due to the particularity of biomass fuel itself and its combustion process, the design and operation of biomass boilers should be based on the combustion characteristics of different types of biomass, in order to ensure the economic and reliability of biomass boiler operation and improve the efficiency of biomass development and utilization.
The main problems in biomass combustion are agglomeration, ash accumulation, and slagging. In addition to the characteristics of the fuel itself (mainly referring to the composition of ash), a reasonable boiler structure design is also crucial for selecting operating parameters during boiler operation. For example, the temperature of the flue gas, the temperature of the heated wall surface of the pipe, the material and location, the combustion environment, and the oxygen content in the flue gas. By strictly controlling the combustion temperature, separation performance, excess air coefficient, and exhaust gas flow rate of the bed and furnace outlet, the problems of ash accumulation and slagging caused by burning straw biomass can be avoided and solved.
The ash formed by the combustion of straw biomass mainly enters the tail flue in the form of fly ash. According to the analysis of ash composition, the content of silicon, potassium, sodium, and calcium in the ash is higher, and the adhesion of ash on the heating surface pipe wall is much more severe than wear. Therefore, a reasonable selection of the smoke flow rate on the tail heating surface can avoid the accumulation of ash on the heating surface. At the same time, a proprietary ash blowing system and bag filter are equipped to effectively collect fly ash in the flue gas.
