What are the Basic Principles for Ignition of Rotary Kiln Burner

The ignition of the rotary kiln burner must follow the following basic principles:

1.  The kindling must be located below the outlet end of the burner where it can directly contact the fuel;

2.  Before the fuel is ejected from the burner, the fire must exist and have sustainable combustibility;

3.  The interval between the time of fire burning and the time of fuel injection is not easy to be too long;

4.  A certain negative pressure pumping force (which will not extinguish the fire) must be formed in the rotary kiln.

5.  If one ignition fails, it is strictly prohibited to conduct the next ignition in a short time or immediately;

6.  Try to make the ignition successful at one time.

Unsuccessful ignition (ignition failure) is common. There are many reasons for failure, generally including the ignition gas supply is not smooth, the ignition state being poor, the electrical system, the valve position system linkage being abnormal, and the fuel delivery being blocked. At this time, the basic requirements before the next ignition are:

1.  The smoke extractor shall replace the gas in the kiln, and the emptying time shall not be less than 10 minutes;

2.  The fuel source is terminated and in a state of re-preparation;

3.  Find out the cause of ignition failure;

4.  Return to the ignition procedure.

Among them, it is very important to find out the cause of ignition failure, and it is also the key to ensuring the success of the next ignition. Pay special attention to safety issues when igniting gas fuel. Remember to ignite first and then supply gas!
