Precautions for using biomass boilers

1. Boiler leaving the factory: According to relevant national regulations, boilers leaving the factory should be accompanied by design documents that comply with safety technical specifications; Product quality qualification certificate; Safety and maintenance manuals, as well as supervision and inspection certificates and other related documents.

2. Boiler installation: Units using boilers need to find professional enterprises engaged in boiler installation, maintenance, and renovation when installing boilers, and obtain a special equipment installation and maintenance qualification certificate issued by the provincial quality and technical supervision bureau.

3. Boiler installation, maintenance, and renovation acceptance: After installing, maintaining, and renovating the boiler, the unit using the boiler needs to apply for the boiler’s water pressure test and installation inspection to the Special Equipment Inspection Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision. After passing the inspection, the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, Special Equipment Inspection Institute, and County Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau will participate in the overall acceptance.

4. Boiler registration: After boiler acceptance, the unit using the boiler needs to fill out the “Boiler (Census) Registration Form” in accordance with the relevant provisions of the “Special Equipment Registration and Use Management Rules” and register with the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau to obtain the “Special Equipment Safety Use Registration Certificate”.

5. Boiler operation: Units using boilers need to pay attention to the personnel operating the boiler, who must obtain a “Special Equipment Operator Certificate” before they can operate the boiler.

6. Boiler inspection: According to relevant regulations, boilers need to be inspected regularly once a year. The safety valves in the safety accessories on the boiler need to be inspected regularly once a year, and the pressure gauges need to be inspected every six months. Boilers without regular safety inspections are not allowed to be used.
