What is a Split Natural Gas/Fuel Oil Boiler Burner?

A split burner refers to a burner where the combustion fan is not located on the burner body but is instead located in a dedicated fan room or boiler room space.

Burners can be divided into split burners and integral burners according to their structure. Generally, as the power of a split burner increases, so does its weight.

The advantages are that the fan’s air pressure and airflow can be selected according to different working conditions, and hot air combustion can be achieved to improve combustion efficiency. Another reason is that large-power burners require more powerful combustion fan motors. As the weight of the motors increases, the use of integral machines can pose significant safety hazards due to the burner’s lifting weight. This type of machine is generally only used for power levels above 4000kw.
