For a considerable period of time, China has implemented a “coal based” energy policy, and the production and use of industrial boilers have always been dominated by coal-fired boilers. But with the implementation of policies such as energy conservation, emission reduction, and renewable energy utilization in China, the product structure and combustion mode of industrial boilers have also undergone varying degrees of changes, and fluidized bed boilers, biomass boilers, waste heat boilers, etc. have developed rapidly.
Boiler output range, thermal oil boiler is a boiler that uses thermal oil as the heat medium for heat transfer. By utilizing the high-temperature characteristics of thermal oil, thermal oil boilers can achieve low-pressure and high-temperature heating. To discharge the heat transfer oil from the heat transfer oil furnace, it can be done during system cleaning by opening the discharge valve. However, after the heat transfer oil is discharged, it can only be placed in the oil storage tank and not elsewhere. Moreover, it is also impossible to completely drain the oil in the thermal oil furnace.
In the cold state of an industrial boiler, the water filled in the evaporation system below the drum water level elevation is static. When the rising pipe is heated inside the boiler, some of the water generates steam, forming a low-density steam water mixture. The downcomer is not heated outside the furnace, and the water density in the pipe is relatively high. This creates a driving force due to the density difference between the two. The steam water mixture flows upward in the water-cooled wall, passing through the upper header and conduit into the steam drum. The water from the steam drum in the downcomer flows downward and is replenished into the water-cooled wall through the lower header. This continuous circulation flow forms a natural circulation.
The output range of boilers, with the changes in China’s energy supply structure policies and the increasingly strict requirements for environmental protection, China’s boilers will develop towards high energy conservation, high efficiency, and sufficient combustion in the future. Therefore, promoting the transformation of coal-fired and gas boilers and effectively achieving energy-saving and environmental protection goals is a key task in China.
