What are the Technical Requirements for Fuel Oil Burner?

Fuel oil burners are a type of equipment that have certain requirements during operation. In order to achieve better results, we need to not only understand the correct operation methods but also meet the corresponding technical requirements. The specific operation methods are as follows.

Technical requirements:
The rated thermal output of the fuel-burning machine should be consistent with the design value, with a deviation not exceeding or falling below 10%; the range of regulation for the thermal output is 2%–5%; it should be capable of adapting to one or several types of gas, and when the Wobbe index of natural gas fluctuates within ±5%, it should be able to maintain normal combustion; the characteristics of the formed flame should be consistent with the heating process.

Requirements for combustion quality:
At the rated thermal output, the excess air coefficient of various equipment should not be excessively high, with a technical requirement typically below 1.08–1.15; the chemical incompletely burned heat’s heat loss in the combustion chamber’s exit smoke should be no higher than 0.4%.

The machine should be easy to disassemble and assemble; easily damaged parts should be convenient for maintenance or replacement; the materials of each part and component should meet the standards.

Safety requirements:

The carbon monoxide content in the smoke, the surface temperature of the equipment, and the equipment’s sealing performance should all meet the safety requirements.

When using fuel oil burner, it is necessary to learn how to handle them according to corresponding requirements. No matter what technical requirements are set, our goal is to achieve better application results, so we must strictly follow.
